Internal discolouration

Age thins the enamel and reveals the naturally yellower dentine beneath, and some antibiotics taken in childhood stain the tooth from within. These respond more slowly and less completely.

What whitening cannot touch

Crowns, veneers, bridges and tooth-coloured fillings do not change colour at all. If you have visible restorations, whitening the natural teeth around them can leave a mismatch.

How much whiter will my teeth get?

Does whitening cause sensitivity?

Can everyone whiten?

Does whitening damage enamel?

Why are my crowns a different colour now?
