Root Canals
When a tooth is sick and ailing a root canal is a viable option. Removing the nerve and sterilizing the inside of the root structure is the main goal of the dentist. We strive to make sure the patient feels nothing during the procedure by providing local anesthetic.
The procedure usually takes a few hours, little post-op pain, and able to get back to work same day. Most root canals require a crown after to protect that tooth – without a nerve and blood supply the tooth portion can get very brittle .
Our patients tend to fall asleep during root canals due to length of procedure. We pride ourselves in comfort.
